Prof. Guangjie Han

Guangjie Han (Fellow, IEEE) is currently a Professor with the Department of Internet of Things Engineering, Hohai University, Changzhou, China. He received his Ph.D. degree from Northeastern University, Shenyang, China, in 2004. In February 2008, he finished his work as a Postdoctoral Researcher with the Department of Computer Science, Chonnam National University, Gwangju, Korea. From October 2010 to October 2011, he was a Visiting Research Scholar with Osaka University, Suita, Japan. From January 2017 to February 2017, he was a Visiting Professor with City University of Hong Kong, China. From July 2017 to July 2020, he was a Distinguished Professor with Dalian University of Technology, China. His current research interests include Internet of Things, Industrial Internet, Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence, Mobile Computing, Security and Privacy. Dr. Han has over 500 peer-reviewed journal and conference papers, in addition to 160 granted and pending patents. Currently, his H-index is 60 and i10-index is 257 in Google Citation (Google Scholar). The total citation count of his papers raises above 13600+ times. 


Dr. Han is a Fellow of the UK Institution of Engineering and Technology (FIET). He has served on the Editorial Boards of up to 10 international journals, including the IEEE TII, IEEE TCCN, IEEE Systems, IEEE/CCA JAS, IEEE Network, etc. He has guest-edited several special issues in IEEE Journals and Magazines, including the IEEE JSAC, IEEE Communications, IEEE Wireless Communications, Computer Networks, etc. Dr. Han has also served as chair of organizing and technical committees in many international conferences. He has been awarded 2020 IEEE Systems Journal Annual Best Paper Award and the 2017-2019 IEEE ACCESS Outstanding Associate Editor Award. He is a Fellow of IEEE.

Prof. Dimitrios Georgakopoulos

Dimitrios Georgakopoulos (Member, IEEE) received the M.S. and Ph.D. degrees from the University of Houston, Houston, TX, USA.,He is a Full Professor of Computer Science with the Faculty of Science, Engineering and Technology, Swinburne University of Technology, Hawthorn, VIC, Australia, and the Inaugural Director of the IoT Lab in the university’s Digital Innovation Capability Platform. He also leads the Industry 4.0 Program at Swinburne’s Manufacturing Futures Research Institute. Before that, he served as a Research Director from 2008 to 2014 of CSIRO’s ICT Centre, Canberra, ACT, Australia, and a Professor with RMIT University, Melbourne, VIC, Australia, from 2014 to 2016. 


Prior to joining CSIRO, he held research and management positions in several industrial laboratories in the USA, including Telcordia Technologies, Red Bank, NJ, USA; Microelectronics and Computer Corporation, Austin, TX, USA; GTE Laboratories, Boston, Boston, MA, USA; and Bell Communications Research (Bellcore), Piscataway, NJ, USA.,Prof. Georgakopoulos authored/coauthored 190+ journal and conference publications in computer science, which include three seminal papers in the areas of Service Computing, Workflow Management, and Context Management in the Internet of Things (IoT).

Prof. Georgios Theodoropoulos

Georgios Theodoropoulos is currently a Chair Professor at the Department of Computer Science and Engineering at SUSTech in Shenzhen, China's Silicon Valley. He joined SUSTech from Durham University, UK where he was the inaugural Executive Director of the Institute of Advanced Research Computing, a Chair Professor in Computer Engineering and the Head of the Innovative Computing Group at the School of Engineering and Computing Sciences. 


He has been a Senior Research Scientist with IBM Research, held an Adjunct Chair at the Trinity College Dublin and senior faculty positions at the Nanyang Technological University, Singapore and the University of Birmingham, UK, where he was also founding Director of one of UK's National e-Science Centres of Excellence. He is a Chartered Engineer and holds a Ph.D. from the University of Manchester, UK. He is a Fellow of the World Academy of Art and Science.

Sos Agaian (Fellow, IEEE) received the M.S. degree (summa cum laude) in mathematics and mechanics from Yerevan University, Yerevan, Armenia, the Ph.D. degree in math and physics from the Steklov Institute of Mathematics, Russian Academy of Sciences, Moscow, and the Doctor of Engineering Sciences degree from the Institute of the Control System, Russian Academy of Sciences. He is a Distinguished Professor of Computer Science with the Graduate Center/CSI, CUNY, New York, NY, USA. He was a Peter T. Flawn Professor with the University of Texas at San Antonio, San Antonio, TX, USA. His research sponsors include DARPA, NSF, U.S. Department of Transportation, U.S. Department of Energy, NIJ, and private industry. His recent research interests include computational vision, artificial intelligence, multimedia security, multimedia analytics, and cancer screening.,Dr. Agaian is a highly cited scholar and ranked top one in image quality and multimedia analytics, assessed in 2022 by Google Scholar. Over 45 Ph.D. students have completed their Ph.D. thesis under his supervision. His work has led to over 750 articles, 10 books, 19 book chapters, and he holds over 56 American and foreign-issued or pending patents/disclosures. Several of his IP is commercially licensed. He is currently an Associate Editor of IEEE Transactions on Image Processing, IEEE Transactions on Systems, Man, and Cybernetics, and Journal of Electronic Imaging (IS&T and SPIE): Systems. He is a Fellow of the Society for Imaging Science and Technology (IS&T), Optical Society of America (SPIE), American Association for the Advancement of Science (AAAS), The Asia-Pacific Artificial Intelligence Association (AAIA), and a Foreign Member of the Armenian National Academy. He is a co-founder and served as an honorary/general cochair and/or committee member in many international conferences on image processing, computer vision, and AI. He received the Innovator of the Year Award in 2014 and the Tech Flash Titans-Top Researcher Award (San Antonio Business Journal). He gave more than 20 plenary/keynote speeches and 50+ Invited talks. He is the recipient of Influential Member of the School of Engineering, Tufts University, and a Certificate of Appreciation from the IEEE Educational Society, Central New England Council. Also, he has received several paper awards. He cofounded three Universities Centers: Simulation Visualization and Real-Time Prediction Center (NSF), NVIDIA Research Center, and the National Center of Academic Excellence in Cyber Defense (DHS). Presently, UTSA's cybersecurity program has been ranked the best in the nation.

Jinsong Wu (Senior Member, IEEE) received the Ph.D. degree in electrical engineering from the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering, Queen’s University, Kingston, ON, Canada, in 2006.,He received the 2020 IEEE Green Communications and Computing Technical Committee Distinguished Technical Achievement Recognition Award for his outstanding technical leadership and achievement in green wireless communications and networking, the 2017 IEEE Green Communications and Computing Technical Committee Excellent Services Award for his excellent technical leadership and services in the Green Communications and Computing Community, the 2017, 2019, and 2021 IEEE Systems Journal best paper awards, and the 2018 IEEE Green Communications and Computing Technical Committee Best Magazine Paper Award. He was elected as the Vice Chair of the Technical Activities of the IEEE Environmental Engineering Initiative (EEI) from 2017 to 2022. He was the Founder and the Founding Chair of the IEEE Technical Committee on Green Communications and Computing (TCGCC) from 2011 to 2017. He was the Co-Founder and the Founding Vice-Chair of the IEEE TCBD in 2014 and from 2014 to 2022, respectively. 


Since 2022, he has been the Chair of the IEEE Technical Committee on Big Data (TCBD). He was the very first proposer of IEEE Green ICT Journals or Transactions in 2012. He was a Proposer in 2021, the Founder in 2022, and has been the Founding Editor-in-Chief since 2022, for the new international journal, Green Technologies and Sustainability, (KeAi). He was the leading Editor and the coauthor of the comprehensive book, titled Green Communications: Theoretical Fundamentals, Algorithms, and Applications (CRC Press, September 2012).

Assoc. Prof.Jinfang Jiang

Associate Professor Jiang Jinfang, her main research interests are Internet of Things security, artificial intelligence, Industrial Internet, smart ocean, etc.


In 2015, he was awarded Associate Professor and "Dayu Scholar" of Hohai University in 2018, Young Professor of Hohai University and high-level talent of "Six Talent Peaks" of Jiangsu Province in 2019. In recent years, he has published more than 40 SCI papers in international journals such as IEEE TMC, IEEE TIE, IEEE TII, IEEE COMMAG and IEEE TPDS (including 1 ESI hot spot paper and 7 ESI highly cited papers). Presided over/participated in more than 10 projects above provincial and ministerial level, including national key research and development programs, national major science and technology projects, National Natural Science Foundation, Natural Science Foundation of Jiangsu Province, etc.

Prof. Su-Cheng Haw

Su-Cheng Haw is Professor at Faculty of Computing and Informatics, Multimedia University, where she leads several funded research on the XML databases. 


Her research interests include XML databases, query optimization, database tuning, data modeling, data management, and data warehousing. She has published around 90 articles in reputable journals and conferences. She serves in several editorial boards and participated as technical committee member and reviewer boards for several international conferences and journals. Besides, she also received several ad-hoc invitations to review journal/conference articles.

Sun Ning is now an associate professor and master tutor of the Computer Department of the School of Internet of Things Engineering, Hohai University. Member of IEEE, China Computer Society.


Presided over and participated in 5 national and provincial natural science fund projects, as well as Changzhou science and technology projects and horizontal projects; Published more than 30 SCI/EI retrieval papers, and won the best paper award of QSHINE2016 conference; 5 authorized invention patents, 1 soft; One textbook was published. He has been a reviewer of international journals such as IEEE Network Magazine, Computer Networks, Journal of Computer Network and Applications. Research areas: Internet of Things theory and technology, network security, cloud computing and big data.
